Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with strong expertise in database technologies and big data processing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Apache Spark, and possess a solid understanding of database administration concepts. The role involves designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and database solutions to support business-critical applications and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and database solutions using PostgreSQL.

- Build and optimize large-scale data processing workflows using Apache Spark.

- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies for improved efficiency.

- Support database migration, data integration, and data quality initiatives.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

- Apply basic DBA knowledge to manage database health, backups, recovery,



user management, and performance monitoring.

- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL

- Basic Database Administration (DBA) knowledge

- Experience in Apache Spark

- Strong SQL query writing and performance tuning skills

- Understanding of ETL/Data Integration concepts

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

- Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting.

- Experience with data migration and performance optimization projects.
