We are looking for a Polymer Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our Production Department and take responsibility for coordinating and monitoring production activities during the second shift.
The engineer will work closely with Production, Quality, Mixing, Maintenance and Finishing teams to ensure smooth production and timely resolution of process and shop-floor issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate movement and transfer of production lots between Production, Finishing, Quality Control and related departments.
- Monitor ongoing production and ensure jobs are carried out according to production requirements.
- Attend to rubber moulding machines and address production/process-related issues.
- Identify and troubleshoot inline quality problems including curing, moulding, material-flow and surface-quality issues.
- Coordinate post-curing activities and ensure specified time and temperature requirements are followed.
- Respond to material-related production problems and coordinate with the Mixing and Quality teams when required.
- Monitor moulding parameters and help identify problems arising from the material, mould, machine or process.
- Coordinate with Maintenance when machine-related issues occur.
- Handle day-to-day operator and manpower issues during the shift.
- Ensure production priorities and pending jobs are properly followed.
- Maintain process discipline, housekeeping and safety on the production floor.
- Record and communicate key production issues, corrective actions and pending matters to the next shift/management.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
