Role Description The Political Assembly Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Panaji, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing political ground campaigns and public assemblies. This role coordinates rallies, town halls, and other political events, managing logistics such as venues, permissions, scheduling, and on-the-ground operations. The person in this position works closely with campaign strategists, communications teams, and local organizers to ensure events align with broader narrative and messaging goals.
Daily tasks include stakeholder coordination, supervising field teams and volunteers, tracking attendance and engagement data, and troubleshooting operational issues in real time.
The Political Assembly
Manager also supports post-event reporting and analysis to refine future assemblies and contribute to overall campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Experience in political campaign management, event coordination, or public assemblies, with strong skills in planning, logistics, and on-the-ground execution.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management, including coordinating with political teams, local authorities, community leaders, and vendors.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to brief teams, prepare event documentation, and report outcomes clearly.
- Capability to lead and motivate field staff and volunteers, with experience in team supervision and conflict resolution.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and data tracking; familiarity with campaign or CRM software is an advantage.
- Demonstrated understanding of political processes, voter engagement, and local sociopolitical dynamics in Goa or similar regions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Communications, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by campaign and event schedules.
- Prior experience in strategic communications or agency environments is a plus.
