Role & responsibilities

- Preparation of Plumbing & Fire Fighting concept designs and detailed designs.
- Design of:

- Domestic Water Supply Systems
- Drainage & Sewage Systems
- Storm Water Drainage Systems
- Rainwater Harvesting Systems
- Hot Water Systems
- Hydrant Systems
- Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Pump Rooms
- Pressurization Coordination
- STP & WTP Utility Coordination

* Hydraulic calculations for plumbing and firefighting systems.
- Pipe sizing and pump head calculations.
- Equipment selection and technical comparison.
- Preparation and review of BOQ, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Guide draftsmen for preparation of drawings as per design requirements.
- Review and check drawings prepared by draftsmen/design team.
- Coordination with HVAC, Electrical, Architectural, and Structural teams.
- Resolve technical and coordination issues during design and execution stages.
- Review and approve:

- Plumbing & Fire Fighting Layout Drawings
- Schematic Drawings
- Pump Room Layouts
- Sections & Details

* Review shop drawings and vendor submissions.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, IS Codes,



NFPA, TAC, local authority norms, and client standards.
- Attend client meetings and technical discussions.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills

- Solid knowledge of Plumbing & Fire Fighting design principles and standards.
- Hands-on experience in hydraulic calculations and system design.
- Understanding of:

- Water Supply & Distribution Systems
- Soil, Waste & Vent Systems
- Storm Water Drainage
- Rainwater Harvesting
- Hydrant & Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Pumps & Pump Rooms
- Smoke Management & Pressurization Coordination
- STP/WTP Coordination

Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP (preferred)
- Hydraulic Calculation Software (preferred)
- MS Office

Experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting design for:
- Commercial Buildings
- Industrial Facilities
- Hotels & Hospitality Projects
- Hospitals & Healthcare Buildings
- Residential & High-rise Buildings
- BE / Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
