Role Description This is a full time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Haridwar. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and implement PLC logic and control programs for power infrastructure and smart metering systems.

Daily responsibilities include configuring and testing PLCs, integrating them with sensors, meters, and communication modules, and troubleshooting control system issues in coordination with engineering and production teams. The role involves preparing and maintaining technical documentation, supporting commissioning and field trials, and optimizing existing programs for performance,



reliability, and safety. The PLC Programmer will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that automation solutions meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong PLC programming skills (e.g., ladder logic, function block, structured text) and experience with common PLC platforms and industrial communication protocols.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and SCADA/HMI integration, including sensors, actuators, and field devices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings, with familiarity in industrial power or energy systems.
- Proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging control logic and hardware in production or field environments.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, and field service.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline; relevant experience in PLC programming for power or utilities is an advantage.
- Experience with smart metering, power distribution management, or energy management systems, and familiarity with ISO quality environments, is beneficial.
