Job Title: Playwright Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 8+ years of QA experience, including solid expertise in Playwright automation framework. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation solutions for web applications, ensuring high product quality and faster release cycles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modern test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, API testing, and Agile delivery models.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive defect resolution.
- Automate API testing using tools such as Playwright API, & Postman.




- Review test cases and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and drive QA best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
- Prepare test metrics, dashboards, and quality reports for stakeholders.
- Continuously improve test processes, frameworks, and automation coverage.

Required Technical Skills:

Automation Testing

- Strong expertise in Playwright
- Experience with:
- TypeScript
- Playwright Test Runner
- Cross-browser automation
- Headless browser testing
- Parallel execution
- Page Object Model (POM)

Programming

- Proficiency in TypeScript

API Testing: REST API Testing, Postman, JSON/XML validation, API automation

Test Management: Jira

Functional Skills

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Test planning and estimation.
- Risk-based testing approach.
- Defect management and reporting.
- Quality assurance governance.
