**Sawan Industries is looking for an experienced, hands-on Plant Incharge to lead manufacturing and quality control at our dry-mix tile adhesive plant in Chirawa. This dual-responsibility role requires complete ownership of daily operations—from batch production, machinery maintenance, and raw material management to end-to-end quality assurance (QA/QC) and lab testing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Operational Management

* Oversee shift production of dry-mix tile adhesives, wall putty, grouts, and construction chemicals.
- Plan daily production schedules to meet targets while minimizing material wastage and plant downtime.
- Optimize batch mixing, dosing, bagging machines, screw conveyors, and packaging lines.

1. Quality Control & Testing (Core Ownership)

* Conduct and supervise raw material testing (graded sand, cement, polymers, additives) and approve incoming shipments.
- Ensure strict adherence to formulation recipes, batch consistency, and product standards (IS/EN specifications).
- Perform routine lab tests on finished products for tensile adhesion strength, pot life, open time, and setting time before batch dispatch.
- Maintain laboratory records, test certificates (COA), and lead corrective actions for non-conforming batches.

Maintenance & Inventory Management

* Execute preventive maintenance for plant machinery to prevent breakdowns.
- Track raw material inventory and finished goods to avoid stockouts and ensure timely dispatch.

1. Workforce & Safety Leadership

* Supervise, train, and discipline plant operators, lab technicians, and shop-floor labor.
- Enforce factory safety guidelines, dust control measures, and proper PPE usage.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry, or Diploma/B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 4 to 8 years in the Tile Adhesive, Dry-Mix Mortar, or Construction Chemicals industry, with direct experience in both plant operations and lab quality testing.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of dry-mix batching plants, pneumatic packing systems, and standard tile adhesive testing equipment.
- Competencies: Strong leadership, operational problem-solving, and quality-first mindset.
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Chirawa, Rajasthan.
