Role & responsibilities

- Lead complete plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, SCM, Logistics, EHS and related functions.

- Drive achievement of plant targets across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale (SQCDM).

- Manage P&L;, plant budget, operating cost, CAPEX and productivity targets.

- Ensure achievement of production volumes, customer schedules and delivery commitments.

- Manage JIT/JIS-based automotive seating operations and ensure uninterrupted supply to OEM customers.

- Drive improvement in OEE, productivity, line efficiency, cycle time, downtime, rejection and manufacturing cost.

- Lead new project/new product launches, capacity enhancement, line setup, ramp-up and SOP stabilization.

- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer-specific requirements.

- Drive IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D and problem-solving initiatives.

- Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Poka-Yoke and continuous improvement.

- Manage key OEM customer relationships, audits, escalations and plant-level reviews.

- Drive localization, cost reduction and value-engineering initiatives in coordination with relevant functions.

- Ensure high standards of EHS,



statutory compliance and shop-floor safety.

- Develop plant leadership teams and build a strong performance-driven culture.

- Manage IR/ER and workforce-related matters in coordination with HR.

- Work closely with Corporate and cross-functional leadership on business plans, future capacity and plant strategy.

Preferred candidate profile

- Robust experience in Automotive / Tier-1 Auto Component manufacturing.

- Automotive Seating Systems experience strongly preferred.

- Exposure to manufacturing of complete seats, seat assembly, seat frames/structures, recliners, sliders, mechanisms, foam, trim or automotive interiors would be relevant.

- Strong experience handling OEM customers.

- Experience managing high-volume JIT/JIS manufacturing environments.
