Role & responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end plant operations covering production planning, quality, on-time delivery, cost optimisation, productivity and overall operational efficiency.

- Develop and implement robust systems, processes and SOPs to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

- Drive coordination across Production Planning, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores, Purchase, Quality and other functions to ensure adherence to production schedules and customer requirements.

- Lead manpower, shift and machine planning to optimise resource utilisation, improve productivity and achieve production targets.

- Drive cost reduction, waste elimination and productivity improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

- Monitor and improve Man, Machine and Material utilisation, with a robust focus on capacity enhancement and profitability.

- Establish and monitor daily,



weekly and monthly operational MIS, including Production, Schedule vs. Supply, Productivity, Quality, Rejection, Rework, Downtime and Cost metrics.

- Drive shop-floor excellence through monitoring of cycle time, setup time, downtime, rejection, rework and process losses, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.

- Lead initiatives for TPM, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and waste reduction to improve OEE and plant efficiency.

- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) for New Product Development, new projects, process validation and production readiness.

- Ensure strict adherence to EHS, statutory, legal and organisational requirements across plant operations.
