Role & responsibilities

This position is responsible for overall operations of the plant, which consists the areas of production, supply chain management, Maintenance, Plant related HR initiatives. Ensuring 100% production output by ensuring Quality Measures of the unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Leading and motivating the Operations team to achieve the sales, revenue growth and achieve targets of the organization
- Lead Operations team in execution of daily production tasks, work scheduling, training, maintenance and continuous improvements in plant
- Lead the team on recent production lines / plant
- Execution of Cost Saving projects, which help the business growth
- Execution of all the recent programs as per dates committed to the customer.
- Plan regular visits to customer to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensuring the culture driven plant on Perform problem-solving to develop corrective actions for customer issues or to initiate continuous improvement
- Ensuring and delivering the Sales Plan Vs Production Plan actual matching
- Capability studies & process optimization
- Participate in review and approval of component designs, drawings and material selections




- Review and Ensure changes to improve the production efficiency
- Lead the cross functional team on new product development, trials & line proving
- Ensure safe work environment within plant
- Ensuring the right resources provided to the team for achieving the plant targets
- Ensure positiveness with the team members and employee relations
- Ensuring team member for adherence of Company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices
- Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, KAIZEN, SES initiatives
- Handling the labour issues & legal and statutory requirements as per local laws
- QRQC culture drive at Plant / APA / Line
- Mentoring the team member to grow-up to the next level

Professionalism: Strong Knowledge Injection moulding process, Filter / Air cooling product.

QUALIFICATION

CIPET ( UG) / B.E with 10 - 15 years of relevant work experience out of which at least 5 years as operations head in reputed organisation. Must have strong knowledge on Operation activities. Preferably having Black Belt in Six Sigma.
