Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead and manage the overall plant operations of our EVA Encapsulant & Backsheet manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for production, quality, maintenance, safety, manpower, cost control and overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete plant operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Plan and achieve production targets, productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch and Plant Administration.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials.
- Drive quality standards, process control and reduction of rejection/wastage.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for machine availability and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper manpower planning, discipline and workforce productivity.
- Monitor plant cost, wastage, inventory and operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, EHS, statutory and labour requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, security and plant discipline.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Purchase, SCM, Sales, Finance, HR and Management for smooth operations.
- Prepare and review MIS, production reports, KPIs and plant performance dashboards.
- Lead process improvement, productivity improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.




- Handle plant-level issues, breakdowns, escalations and critical operational decisions.
- Develop a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, safety and continuous improvement.
- Report overall plant performance directly to the Senior Management/Directors.

Required Skills
- Strong leadership and plant management skills.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Experience in polymer/plastic film, EVA, Backsheet, adaptable packaging or similar manufacturing will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality, maintenance, safety, manpower and cost management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel, MIS and production KPIs.

Preferred Candidate

12 years of experience with at least 5 years in a Plant Head / Plant Manager / Senior Plant Operations role, preferably from a manufacturing environment.

Local candidates from Chhattisgarh / nearby locations will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
