Role Description The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations, ensuring safe, productive, and cost-effective manufacturing activities on a daily basis. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jamnagar and includes leadership of production teams, monitoring output, and optimizing workflows to meet delivery timelines and quality standards. The role involves coordinating production planning, resource allocation, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

The Plant

Head will drive quality control initiatives, implement process improvements, manage plant budgets, and track key performance indicators.



This position also includes fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, while collaborating closely with senior management and other departments.

Qualifications

- Strong plant operations and production management skills, with experience overseeing end-to-end manufacturing activities.
- Proficiency in production planning and workflow optimization, including capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Hands-on experience with quality control, process improvement, and adherence to relevant industry standards.
- Budgeting and cost-control skills, including monitoring expenses and improving operational efficiency.
- Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams, with strong people-management and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to analyze data, use manufacturing metrics, and make decisions based on performance indicators.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in plant safety management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in metal manufacturing or related industries is highly preferred.
