About the Role
We are looking for a Plant Engineer to support plant operations, production planning, maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth and efficient plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day plant operations and production.
Achieve targets related to production, productivity, efficiency, quality, yield and cost.
Plan daily production in line with dispatch requirements.
Ensure effective plant maintenance, troubleshooting and maximum equipment uptime.
Coordinate with Marketing and other teams for order servicing and dispatch.
Guide and supervise shop-floor personnel on safety, discipline and housekeeping.
Participate in implementation of new initiatives and process improvements.
Encourage automation and IT-enabled processes within the plant.
Coordinate with the Plant Manager, Marketing and customers as required.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Mechanical / Chemical.
Experience in plant operations, production and maintenance.
Strong understanding of plant equipment, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Candidates from chemical, petrochemical, bitumen, asphalt, oil & gas or process manufacturing environments would be relevant.
Valuable problem-solving, coordination and shop-floor management skills.
Energetic, organised and self-driven.
