Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in planning and coordinating high-rise residential and commercial construction projects , preferably across Mumbai's Western suburbs.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in project scheduling, progress monitoring, MIS reporting, stakeholder coordination, risk identification, and resource planning . The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects remain on schedule while supporting productive resource utilization and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (MSP) .
- Develop baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and project execution schedules.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure activities are progressing as planned.
- Support project planning and construction sequencing activities.

2. Progress Monitoring & Control

- Track actual project progress against planned schedules.
- Identify delays, risks, critical activities, and potential schedule deviations.
- Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor project milestones and critical path activities.

3. Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Contractors, Vendors, and Clients for timely execution.
- Follow up on engineering deliverables, approvals, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with various project teams to resolve planning and execution-related issues.

4. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and progress reports .
- Prepare and maintain look-ahead plans and project status updates.




- Present project progress and key schedule updates during review meetings.
- Maintain accurate project planning and monitoring records.

5. Resource & Risk Management

- Support resource planning and optimization.
- Identify potential project risks and schedule constraints.
- Assist in developing mitigation plans for delays and execution challenges.
- Monitor resource requirements in line with project schedules.

6. Project Execution & Compliance

- Ensure project activities are executed as per the approved schedule.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables, statutory approvals, and certifications.
- Support timely project completion while maintaining quality and execution efficiency.
- Ensure project milestones are aligned with contractual requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in project planning, preferably in high-rise residential or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, monitoring, and sequencing.
- Experience in preparing baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, MIS reports, and project dashboards .
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, project lifecycle, and contractual milestones.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
