Meenaar Global Consultants LLP is seeking a Planning Engineer for full-time deployment at the Puri GA – City Gas Distribution Project.

The role will involve project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting and coordination with project/site teams to ensure timely execution of CGD and pipeline-related activities as per project requirements.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Oil & Gas, CGD, pipeline, EPC or PMC projects, particularly those with exposure to MDPE/Steel pipeline laying and associated project execution activities.

Key Responsibilities

- • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in line with project scope, milestones and contractual timelines.
- • Prepare baseline schedules, weekly/monthly plans and look-ahead schedules.
- • Monitor actual project progress against planned schedules and identify delays or slippages.
- • Track progress of MDPE/Steel pipeline laying, hydrotesting, commissioning and associated civil works.
- • Collect progress updates from site teams and prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
- • Prepare and maintain MIS reports, S-curves, progress charts and other planning reports.
- • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Contractors, Consultants and other stakeholders for timely execution.
- • Identify critical activities, bottlenecks and potential delays and escalate the same to the Project Manager.
- • Assist in preparing recovery plans and catch-up schedules for delayed activities.
- • Monitor manpower, material and equipment deployment against project requirements.




- • Review and track contractor work programmes and progress against agreed schedules.
- • Participate in project review meetings and provide updates on project progress and key planning concerns.
- • Maintain project schedules, progress records, planning documents and related correspondence.

Qualifications & Experience
- • B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in project planning/scheduling.
- • Experience in Oil & Gas / CGD / Pipeline / EPC / PMC projects will be preferred.
- • Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- • Experience in project progress monitoring, MIS preparation and coordination with site/execution teams.
- • Willingness to work full time at the deployed project site.
