Role Description This is a full-time, in office Planning Engineer role based in the Pune Division.
The Planning
Engineer will develop and maintain production plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet delivery targets and optimize manufacturing capacity.
Responsibilities include monitoring workflow, coordinating with production, procurement, and quality teams, and updating plans based on material availability and order priorities. The role involves analyzing operational data, identifying bottlenecks, recommending corrective actions, and supporting project control activities such as tracking milestones and reporting progress.
The Planning
Engineer will prepare regular status reports, maintain planning documentation, and communicate timelines and constraints to stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills to create and manage efficient schedules and resource plans.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and present reports clearly.
- Candidates should possess Project Control capabilities to track milestones, manage timelines, and support delivery commitments.
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in valve or heavy engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in planning tools or ERP systems and good knowledge of MS Excel and related reporting tools.
