This role ensures all electrical activities—from procurement through installation, testing, and handover—are executed within target milestones, budget constraints, and defined quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Baseline Scheduling & Work Breakdown

- Prepare, maintain, and update project master schedules, baseline programs, and look-ahead plans (daily, weekly, monthly) using scheduling tools.
- Develop detailed activity-wise plans covering procurement, site delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and final project handover.
- Thoroughly review project scope, tender documents, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical drawings, and specifications to align execution timelines.

1. Progress Monitoring & Site Coordination

- Track and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly site progress against approved baseline schedules.
- Review critical electrical site activities—including cable tray installation, cable laying, panel erection, termination, earthing, transformer/switchgear installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Collect, validate, and compile progress data from site engineers to maintain real-time project trackers.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Billing, Quality Control (QC),



and Safety teams to integrate progress updates with statutory and quality benchmarks.

1. Delay Analysis, Risk Mitigation & Recovery

- Identify schedule variances, operational bottlenecks, critical path deviations, and potential risks early.
- Formulate revised look-ahead schedules, catch-up programs, and recovery plans for delayed project activities in consultation with the Project Manager.
- Maintain formal records of delay events, site hindrances, and scope changes for contractual and claim documentation.

1. Resource, Material & Billing Alignment

- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores teams to align material procurement, lead times, and dispatch dates with on-site installation schedules.
- Forecast and track resource deployment (direct labor, subcontractors, machinery, and tools) to prevent site downtime.
- Partner with the Billing/Commercial team to verify certified quantities and progress data for timely billing and revenue milestones.

1. Reporting & Review Meetings

- Prepare structured Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), and client presentations.
- Participate actively in internal and client-facing progress review meetings, communicating status, milestones, pending approvals, and action items.
- Assist in final testing, handover documentation, punch-list clearance, and project close-out procedures.





Required Skills & Technical Competencies
- Planning Software: Proficiency in MS Project (MSP) and advanced MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, trackers); working knowledge of Primavera P6 is highly preferred.
- Domain Knowledge: Sound technical understanding of electrical EPC execution, substations, industrial wiring, cabling, panels, and distribution systems.
- Document Interpretation: Strong ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), specifications, and BOQs.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent capability in critical path method (CPM) analysis, progress curve generation (S-curves), and variance tracking.
- Interpersonal Skills: Robust coordination, clear reporting, and cross-functional follow-up abilities with both office and site personnel.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in project planning, project controls, or site coordination within electrical contracting, EPC, industrial infrastructure, or building electrification projects.
- Site Adaptability: Willingness to travel to project sites or be deployed on-site as required by project demands.
