Planning Engineer

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering

We are looking for a Planning Engineer with experience in construction planning and project scheduling. The candidate will be responsible for preparing project schedules, monitoring site progress, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely completion of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
- Develop WBS, baseline schedules, activity sequences, and look-ahead schedules.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress.
- Track planned vs. actual progress and identify delays or deviations.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, procurement, and project managers.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resource requirements.
- Prepare progress reports, S-curves, productivity reports, and project dashboards.
- Identify critical activities and monitor the critical path.




- Analyze delays and prepare recovery/catch-up schedules.
- Assist in EOT and delay-analysis documentation when required.
- Maintain proper records of project schedules, progress, and revisions.
- Attend project review meetings and provide planning/progress updates.

Requirements

- 2–6 years of relevant experience in construction/project planning.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and project execution.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity tracking, billing, and project documentation.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, roads, paving, or civil construction projects will be an advantage.
