Company Description TNS India Foundation (TNSIF) is a section 25, non-profit development organization that has been active in India since 2012. The foundation designs and implements robust, demand-driven programs that contribute to national economic reconstruction, with a strong emphasis on inclusive growth.

TNSIF focuses on three core areas: youth employability, women entrepreneurship, and agriculture and natural resource management. The organization works closely with communities, partners, and employers to create sustainable livelihood opportunities and long-term impact for diverse participant groups.

Role Description The Placement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for connecting program participants with suitable employment and career opportunities. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with campus partners, employers, and industry stakeholders to facilitate placements and internships.

The Placement

Officer will conduct career counseling sessions, organize training and employability workshops, and coordinate placement drives and interview processes. Daily activities include tracking participant progress, preparing placement reports, supporting resume and interview preparation, and ensuring effective communication between learners, training teams, and employer networks. The individual will also contribute to refining placement strategies,



gathering feedback from hiring organizations, and aligning program outcomes with market needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Campus Placement and employer relationship management to generate and manage job and internship opportunities.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting with participants, employers, and institutional partners, and for delivering explicit information and updates.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling and guidance skills to help participants identify suitable career paths and prepare for recruitment processes.
- Candidates should possess Training and facilitation skills to conduct workshops, mock interviews, and employability sessions.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in youth employability, vocational training, or similar programs.
- Relevant experience in placement coordination, talent acquisition, or career services, ideally within the development or education sector.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills, with the ability to track outcomes and meet placement targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in social work, management, education, or related fields is an advantage.
- Comfort working with diverse communities, sensitivity to gender and inclusion, and readiness for field engagement when required.
