: Placement Officer

Organization: Ambuja Foundation Reporting to: SEDI Principal Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary

Responsible for placement coordination, networking, and management of employer databases. This role ensures effective employer engagement and job placement for SEDI trainees by managing outreach, organizing placement events, and maintaining accurate reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Build and maintain relationships with employers, industry partners, and placement agencies.

· Identify suitable job opportunities for SEDI trainees across sectors.

· Organize campus interviews, job fairs, and recruitment drives.

· Guide and prepare trainees for interviews through mock sessions and soft skills training.

· Maintain placement records, employer databases, and trainee employment status.

· Facilitate pre-placement orientation and career counselling for trainees.

· Coordinate with trainers to align training with industry requirements.

· Ensure smooth onboarding of trainees into jobs and support post-placement follow-up.

· Collect feedback from employers and address concerns to improve placements.





· Report placement outcomes, challenges, and success stories to program management.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

· Minimum 2 years of experience in placement services, HR coordination, or similar areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
