POWER PLANT PROJECTS (Combined Cycle Power Plants) and holding a B.E in Mechanical engineering. Candidate should have proven experience and ability in a leader role on performing piping material engineering activities on power plant projects. Proficient in ASME B31.1, international codes and Standards related to piping engineering, development of piping classes, technical bid evaluation and vendor documents review.

Candidate must be able to lead a power plant project, proactive, assertive, team player, assume responsible of his/her job, willing to learn and with valuable communication skills.

- Proven ability to function as a focal point/leader for piping material activities on POWER PLANT projects (Combined cycle power plant).

- Development of piping classes using ASME, ASTM, API codes and standards.

- Thorough knowledge of international codes and standards -ASME B31.1, ASME B16 series, MSS SPs, APIs.

- Reviewing client's specification and preparing technical clarifications/queries to it, recommending alternate cost saving material selection and design solutions where possible.





- Preparation of valve data sheets.

- Experience in application of low alloy steel materials such as 1.25Cr-0.5 Mo, 2.5Cr-1Mo, 5Cr-1Mo, etc, used in power plant projects.

- Preparation of technical specification of piping components.

- Preparation of RFI (requisition for inquiry) and RFP (requisition for purchase) for piping components.

- Preparing technical bid evaluation of piping components and valves.

- Reviewing post order documents received from supplier.

- Preparation of Preliminary Piping MTO based on P&ID;, equipment layout, etc.

- Performing Continuous MTO Activity, isometric material take off check based on the latest P&ID.;

- Manage and maintain piping MTO (Components such as Valves/Speciality items) for material estimation and purchasing.

- Proactive, self starter, ability to work independently with minimum supervision and manage a team of engineers, experience in working with multicultural teams & global offices.
