Design Tool Expertise: Plant3D / E3D and AutoCAD

Number of years experience: 6-10 years

- Facilitating assistance to the Piping Lead engineer and ensuring adherence to the committed schedules.
- Equipment Modelling as per data sheet & Finalizing nozzle orientation
- Piping Material take off by using P&ID; for preliminary.
- Preparation of the Equipment Layout.
- Selecting Pipe Supports as per support standard.
- Modelling of piping routing as per the P&ID.;
- Primary and secondary piping supports.
- 3D modelling of skid-based systems.
- Preparation of the Isometric drawings.
- Preparation of the Piping Layout.
- Pipe isometrics checking.
- Piping Support drawings.




- Extract BOM from 3D model.
- Clash and consistency checking of model
- Extracting reports and Bill of Material of pipe and structure.
- Design coordination for Tie-in points and preparation of as-built drawings
- P&ID; updating as per layout tapping sequences.
- Handling technical queries from site and contractors.
- Providing technical inputs to other disciplines regarding construction of 3D model.
- Familiar with design codes and standards such as ASME, ASME BPE, API & ANSI.
