Job Summary The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing patients, planning and providing appropriate physiotherapy treatments, and supporting patients in their recovery, rehabilitation, mobility, and overall physical well-being. The Physiotherapist will work under the guidance of the treating physician and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and evaluate patients' physical condition, mobility, pain, strength, and functional limitations.
- Provide physiotherapy treatments and rehabilitation programs as prescribed or recommended by the treating physician.
- Develop and implement appropriate exercise and rehabilitation programs based on individual patient requirements.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, stretching, strengthening, and other appropriate physiotherapy techniques.
- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment approaches as required in consultation with the physician.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises, posture, mobility, precautions, and home-care programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, progress, and follow-up requirements.
- Prepare and maintain physiotherapy equipment and ensure that all treatment areas are clean, organized, safe, and hygienic.
- Follow proper infection-control, safety, hygiene, and professional standards during all treatment sessions.
- Observe patients during therapy and promptly report any unusual symptoms, adverse reactions, or changes in condition to the supervising physician.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, therapists,



and other healthcare professionals regarding patient treatment and progress.
- Assist in maintaining physiotherapy equipment, supplies, and consumables in proper working condition.
- Ensure that patients are treated with compassion, respect, privacy, and professionalism at all times.
- Participate in health camps, awareness programs, rehabilitation programs, and patient outreach activities conducted by the hospital.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, workshops, and continuing professional development activities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and hospital policies.
- Be willing to work at both Kalamassery and Edappally branches according to hospital requirements.
- Perform other duties related to the Physiotherapy Department as assigned by the management or supervising physician.

Qualification
- BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Relevant clinical or hospital experience will be an advantage.
- Fresh graduates may also be considered based on their qualifications and skills.

Reporting The Physiotherapist will report to the Supervising Physician / Physiotherapy Department Head and will work in coordination with the hospital management and healthcare team. Pay: ₹10,937.65 - ₹34,597.77 per month
