– Physician Assistant Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Consultant during IP rounds and provide required clinical coordination support.
- Review patient records, clinical notes, investigation reports, and treatment updates before and during rounds.
- Verify and coordinate laboratory, radiology, pathology, and other investigation reports with the Consultant.
- Review discharge summaries for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with the patient's medical records.
- Identify errors, omissions, or discrepancies in discharge summaries and coordinate with the Consultant for necessary corrections.
- Verify prescribed medications, including drug name, dose, strength, route, frequency, and duration, against the Consultant's documented treatment plan.
- Identify and escalate any medication discrepancies, unclear prescriptions, or dosing-related concerns to the Consultant.
- Coordinate IP and OP patient reports, follow-ups, investigations, and pending clinical requirements with the concerned departments.
- Receive and document patient/attendant queries related to treatment, investigations, medications, discharge, and follow-up.




- Clarify patient-related clinical queries with the Consultant and communicate the confirmed instructions appropriately to the patient/attendant.
- Follow up on pending reports, Consultant recommendations, investigations, and patient requirements to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Medical Records, and other departments as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records related to patient coordination and Consultant instructions.
- Escalate urgent clinical concerns or significant patient-related issues to the Consultant or appropriate medical professional without delay.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality, professional ethics, and compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
- Perform all responsibilities under the direction and supervision of the Consultant/authorized medical professional and within the permitted scope of practice.

QUALIFICATION : BSC PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT, PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN FOR GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE CANDIDATE. Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
