About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP Developer to join our dynamic team at Acufore India Private Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications that are secure, scalable, and high-performing.

You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in PHP, particularly with the CodeIgniter framework, and have a solid understanding of backend development, database management, and API integration. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience of 3+ years in PHP development, particularly with PHP 8+ and CodeIgniter, is essential.

Strong knowledge of MVC architecture, Object-Oriented Programming, and RESTful API development is required.



Candidates should have hands-on experience with MySQL, including complex SQL queries, database design, and optimization techniques. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap is preferred.

Proficiency with version control tools like Git, along with experience in debugging, unit testing, and deployment processes, is also necessary. Knowledge of web application security best practices, including protection against SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, and secure session management, is critical for this role.

Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP.

Key responsibilities include building and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, developing backend modules following MVC architecture, and designing optimized database schemas. You will implement authentication, authorization, session management, and role-based access control to ensure application security. Identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and bugs is a core part of your role.

You will also integrate external services such as payment gateways, email/SMS APIs, and other third-party tools to enhance application functionality.

You will work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration and feature development. Writing clean, reusable, and well-documented code is essential,



along with performing debugging, unit testing, and troubleshooting production issues. Managing source code using Git, participating in code reviews, requirement analysis, and deployment activities are integral to your responsibilities.

Additionally, you will monitor and optimize application and database performance to ensure high responsiveness and reliability.
