Photo Editor & E-Commerce Website Builder

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Photo Editor & Website Builder to help develop a premium-looking e-commerce website and create high-quality product imagery for our lifestyle and gifting brand.

The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design and be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or Photoroom and similar softwares, with experience creating professional product images suitable for e-commerce websites, social media, and online marketplaces.

Responsibilities

- Edit and enhance product photographs for our e-commerce website.
- Create clean, premium-looking product images using Photoshop, Photoroom, or similar tools.
- Remove and replace backgrounds, improve lighting and colours, add shadows, and create realistic product compositions.
- Create lifestyle product images and mockups using existing product photographs.
- Work with AI-generated models or backgrounds when required.
- Maintain consistent colour, lighting, proportions, and overall visual style across the product catalogue.
- Resize and optimize images for website performance without compromising quality.
- Help design and build the company’s e-commerce website.
- Create product pages, collection pages, banners, homepage sections, and promotional graphics.
- Upload products, images, descriptions, pricing, and other website content.
- Ensure the website looks professional and works properly on desktop and mobile devices.
- Work closely with us to develop a consistent premium brand identity.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Photoroom and similar softwares.
- Experience editing product photography for e-commerce.
- Experience building or managing e-commerce websites.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, WordPress/WooCommerce, Wix, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of image composition, colour correction, lighting, shadows,



and background replacement.
- Ability to create realistic lifestyle images from basic product photographs.
- Good understanding of modern e-commerce website design.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
- Shopify website development.
- AI image-generation and editing tools.
- Canva, Illustrator, Lightroom, or similar creative software.
- Product photography.
- Creating product images for Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, or other marketplaces.
- Short-form product videos or social-media content.
- Experience working with lifestyle, home décor, fashion, gifting, or personalized products.

What We Are Looking For We are not looking only for someone who can technically edit photographs. We want someone with a good visual and creative sense who understands how to make products look premium, aspirational, and suitable for a modern lifestyle brand.

You should be comfortable taking an ordinary product photograph and transforming it into a polished image that looks ready for a professional e-commerce website.

Job Type

Freelance / Part-Time initially, with the possibility of developing into a longer-term position as the business grows.
