Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Phonics & Public Speaking Expert for all age groups (Domestic). The role involves planning and delivering interactive online sessions in phonics, speech clarity, and public speaking for learners from early childhood through adulthood. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing age-appropriate lesson plans, creating engaging learning materials, and assessing learner progress through regular feedback and evaluations.

The expert will guide learners in pronunciation, vocabulary building, voice modulation, confidence-building, and presentation skills, while maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment. The role also requires collaborating with the academic team to refine curricula,



participating in training and quality reviews, and maintaining explicit communication with learners and families when needed.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in phonics instruction, speech clarity, and spoken English, with the ability to adapt methods for different age groups.
- Proficiency in public speaking coaching, including voice modulation, stage presence, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience in online teaching or training, with the ability to use digital tools and e-learning platforms effectively.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and learner engagement skills in diverse, mixed-ability groups.
- Degree or formal training in Education, English, Communication, Speech and Drama, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience as a teacher, trainer, or facilitator in language development, phonics, or public speaking is highly beneficial.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, evaluate learner progress, and provide constructive, encouraging feedback.
- Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access, strong time-management skills, and a professional home teaching setup.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and a genuine interest in supporting learners’ confidence and self-expression.
