Role Description The Pharmacovigilance Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. The role involves collecting, documenting, and updating information on adverse drug reactions from healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

The assistant will support safety data entry, case processing, and basic analysis under the guidance of senior pharmacovigilance staff. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining pharmacovigilance databases, assisting in the preparation of safety reports, and coordinating communication with clinical and medical teams.



The role also requires adherence to regulatory guidelines, standard operating procedures, and internal quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact clearly with healthcare professionals, patients, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Medical Terminology and Medicine knowledge to understand drug information, adverse events, and clinical documentation.
- Candidates should possess Research skills to gather, verify, and interpret safety-related data.
- Candidates should possess Patient Care awareness to handle sensitive information and prioritize patient safety in all activities.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
- Ability to follow regulatory guidelines and standard operating procedures with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry; familiarity with pharmacovigilance or clinical databases is an advantage.
- Previous internship or experience in pharmacovigilance, clinical research, or hospital/medical settings is preferred but not mandatory.
