ABOUT THE POSITION

Metro Mind Hospital is looking for a responsible and motivated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. We welcome applications from both freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of medicines, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Dispense medicines accurately according to valid prescriptions and hospital procedures.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of medicines.
- Check medicine names, dosage, expiry dates, and stock availability.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate medicine replenishment.
- Support patients and healthcare staff with appropriate medication-related information within the scope of professional practice.
- Follow hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and patient safety standards.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when required.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional standards in the pharmacy.




- Report medication discrepancies, expired stock, and other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Registration

Valid State Pharmacy Council registration, where applicable

- Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.

- Ability to work in shifts, if required.
