Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, customer-focused, and qualified Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The role involves managing day-to-day pharmacy operations at a standalone pharmacy attached to a multispeciality clinic, ensuring accurate dispensing of medicines, maintaining proper inventory, and providing excellent patient support.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription and non-prescription medicines accurately and safely.
- Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, strength, quantity, and potential medication-related issues.
- Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, timing, storage, and precautions.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed and prescriptions.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels and coordinate timely reordering.
- Check medicine expiry dates, batch numbers, storage conditions, and product quality.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing temperature-sensitive medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and medication-related queries.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations.
- Handle billing, cash/UPI transactions,



and pharmacy software/POS systems as required.
- Assist with stock audits, inventory reconciliation, and documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of controlled/scheduled medicines as per applicable regulations.
- Provide courteous and professional service to clinic patients and walk-in customers.
- Support smooth pharmacy operations during busy clinic hours.

Requirements
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council.
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or clinic pharmacy is preferred.
- Positive knowledge of commonly used medicines and prescription handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use pharmacy billing/inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with the clinic team.
