Location: VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Provide appropriate information regarding medication usage and precautions.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines received, issued, and returned.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Check expiry dates and maintain proper storage conditions.
- Handle controlled and high-alert medications as per hospital policies.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on medication-related queries.
- Maintain pharmacy documentation and support internal audits.




- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications
- B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Pharmacy Council.

Experience
- Freshers can apply.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience will be an added advantage.

Skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
