Role Description The Pest Control Technician will perform on-site fumigation and pest control services for cargo, warehouses, and industrial facilities, following company protocols and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, involving inspection of premises and shipments to identify pest issues, assessing infestation levels, and determining appropriate treatment methods. The technician will prepare and apply fumigants and other pest control solutions safely, monitor treatment effectiveness, and document all work performed for compliance and customer reporting.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining equipment,



adhering to safety and environmental guidelines, coordinating with supervisors and operations staff, and communicating clearly with clients on treatment plans and post-service instructions. The role may require working flexible hours to meet logistics schedules and support urgent fumigation needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Pest Control and Integrated Pest Management, with a practical understanding of safe fumigation practices.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with clients, teammates, and supervisors, and to explain procedures and safety measures clearly.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of PEST (political, economic, social, technological) factors relevant to pest management in logistics and storage environments.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Lawn Care or related outdoor treatment practices, which is beneficial for facilities with green areas or external storage.
- Relevant certification or training in pest control or fumigation, and knowledge of local and international regulatory standards, is preferred.
- Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment, follow detailed procedures, and maintain accurate records is essential.
- Physical ability to work in varied environments (warehouses, containers, industrial units) and to handle equipment and materials safely.
- Prior experience in industrial, warehouse, or cargo fumigation, and a valid driving license for site visits, will be an advantage.
