Work location: Pan India

Work Mode: WFO

Work Type: Permanent with Nityo (Deployment in client Place)

Skills

- Install, configure, and maintain DB2 database systems (z/OS)
- Manage database infrastructure including instances, partitions, and clusters
- Design and implement high availability solutions (HADR, clustering, replication)
- Perform database upgrades, fix packs, and patch management
- Monitor system performance and tune database/OS resources for optimal performance
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Troubleshoot complex database/system-level issues and perform root cause analysis
- Optimize memory, CPU, I/O, and storage configurations
- Work closely with infrastructure teams for capacity planning and hardware sizing




- Automate system-level DBA activities using scripting (Shell, Python, Perl)
- Ensure security compliance including authentication, authorization, and auditing
- Support production environments with 24/7 availability (on-call as needed)
- Maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures
