Job Title: Performance Marketer Executive
Experience: 2–3 years
About the role:
This is the level where you stop executing someone else's plan and start owning accounts. You run 3–5 client accounts end to end: structure, budgets, optimisation, scaling, and the client conversation around it all. Your Lead sets portfolio strategy and steps in on hard calls; everything else on your accounts is yours.
You sit in the Performance Marketing department, work daily with the Creative (Paid Ads) team on what to produce next, and are the first person a client hears from when they have a question about their media.
Key responsibilities:
1.Account ownership
- Own 3–5 accounts end to end on Meta and Google (plus other channels where relevant): campaign structure, budget allocation, bids, optimisation, and scaling decisions.
- Own spend pacing daily. Flag anomalies the day they appear, not in the monthly report.
- Handle first-level client questions directly, without escalation.
2.Testing and optimisation
- Build and run a monthly testing roadmap per account: audiences, creatives, offers, placements, landing pages.
- Document learnings so wins compound across accounts instead of living in your head.
- Detect creative fatigue early and act before performance decays.
3.Reporting and client communication
- Own the reporting narrative for your accounts: what happened, why, and what we are doing next. Numbers without a story do not count as a report.
- Present results on client calls and defend media decisions with data.
4.Creative collaboration
- Brief the Creative team on what to produce based on performance data: which angles are winning, what to iterate, what to kill.
- Close the loop: report creative performance back so the next batch is better than the last.
5.Team Review launches by interns and executives on your accounts; catch errors before clients do.
Mentor juniors informally. At this level, making others better is part of the job, not extra credit.
Must have
- 2–3 years running paid campaigns hands-on, with at least one account you scaled profitably and can walk us through in detail.
- Advanced Meta Ads and Google Ads; working knowledge of at least one more channel (TikTok, Snap, Amazon, or LinkedIn).
- Measurement fluency: GA4, pixel and Conversions API setup, UTM discipline, and a working grasp of CAC, ROAS, AOV, and LTV.
- Creative analysis: you can explain why an ad works (hook, angle, format) and spot fatigue in the data before it shows in results.
- Landing page and CRO fundamentals: you know when the problem is not the ads.
- Client-ready communication, written and on calls.
Good to have
- D2C experience across India, GCC, UK, or US markets.
- Experience briefing creative teams or working inside a creative-performance feedback loop.
- Comfort using AI tools for analysis, reporting, and research, with judgment about when not to trust them.
