The Sr. Payroll Functional Consultant will lead end-to-end deployment of the Payroll solution for multiple clients, ensuring timely and successful project delivery. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing client expectations, and customizing configurations based on client requirements. The manager ensures a smooth transition from onboarding to go-live, driving client satisfaction and long-term system adoption.

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end payroll implementation for European countries including Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Spain.
- Understand country-specific payroll processes, statutory requirements, tax, social security, deductions, and compliance.
- Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis based on client payroll requirements and product capabilities.
- Configure payroll rules, workflows, earnings, deductions, taxation, benefits, and statutory components.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and implementation documentation.




- Work closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Coordinate with Product and Technology teams for customizations, integrations, and development requirements.
- Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, UAT, parallel payroll validation, and issue resolution.
- Support payroll data migration, validation, reconciliation, and high-quality data uploads.
- Identify payroll discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve functional issues.
- Provide post-go-live support, stabilization, and continuous process improvements.
- Conduct client demos, training, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Participate in discussions with technical and functional teams to improve product capabilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally for client implementations and meetings.

Eligibility and required skillset

- 10+ years of experience in HRMS/HRIS/HCM Payroll implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience in European payroll implementation.
- Experience in one or more of Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, or Spain payroll.
- Good understanding of country-specific payroll statutory and compliance requirements.
- Robust knowledge of payroll configuration, testing, UAT, data migration, and reconciliation.
- Experience with any major HCM/HRMS/Payroll product.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
