We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Parenting Coach – Newborn Care who can guide new parents through the early stages of their parenting journey and help them build confidence in newborn care and child development.

Key Responsibilities

- Parent Support: Provide empathetic guidance and practical support to parents navigating newborn care and early parenthood.
- Coaching Sessions: Conduct personalised sessions through video or phone calls to understand parental concerns, set goals, and provide actionable guidance.
- Query Resolution: Respond to parent queries through appropriate communication channels with clear, accurate, and reassuring information.
- Newborn Development: Educate parents about newborn development and recommend age-appropriate activities that support sensory, cognitive, and emotional development.
- Follow-ups: Conduct regular follow-up sessions to understand progress, address concerns, and provide continued education.
- Gentle Parenting: Guide parents on positive and gentle parenting approaches that promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
- Parent Education: Help create and deliver educational content, resources, activities, and guides related to newborn care and child development.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with doctors, psychologists, content teams,



and other Yashoma team members to provide a seamless parent experience.
- Creative Ideation: Develop new ideas, activities, and resources to improve engagement and support parents throughout their journey.
- Session Management: Manage appointments, maintain session records, and document important parent concerns, recommendations, and follow-up actions.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is mandatory.
- Additional certification in parenting coaching, child psychology, early childhood development, or counselling is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in early childhood education, child development, parenting support, counselling, or a related field.
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate empathetically with parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong counselling and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of newborn development, parenting practices, and early childhood development.
- Passion for working with parents and contributing to better outcomes for children.
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with evidence-based child development and parenting practices.
