Role Description This is a full time, on-site Pantry Worker role based in Kolkata.

The Pantry

Worker will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages and light snacks, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the pantry area, and ensuring all food service activities comply with safety and sanitation standards. Daily tasks include arranging supplies, replenishing stock, washing and organizing utensils, and setting up refreshment areas for staff and visitors.



The role also involves coordinating with the administrative team for pantry requirements, responding to staff requests in a courteous manner, and supporting small internal events or meetings with timely pantry service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to follow instructions, coordinate pantry needs, and report issues clearly.
- Candidates should possess Food Service and Food Preparation skills to handle beverages, snacks, and pantry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices in a food service environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage routine cleaning tasks, and handle moderate physical activity.
- Previous experience in pantry operations, hospitality, or facility support is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with administrative and facility teams.
