Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Pantry Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the pantry and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food service, and hospitality. The Pantry Supervisor will manage pantry staff, monitor inventory and supplies, coordinate refreshments for meetings and events, and ensure smooth pantry operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Pantry Operations

- Supervise daily pantry operations and ensure timely service of tea, coffee, water, snacks, and other refreshments.
- Ensure pantry areas, dining areas, utensils, equipment, and storage areas are clean and hygienic.
- Maintain proper standards of food handling, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Ensure pantry equipment and appliances are maintained and used safely.
- Coordinate refreshments and catering requirements for meetings, conferences, and office events.

1. Team Management

- Supervise and allocate daily duties to pantry boys/helpers and other support staff.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and work performance.
- Train pantry staff on hygiene, service standards, and workplace procedures.
- Ensure adequate staff coverage during working hours and special events.
- Address day-to-day staff issues and escalate concerns to the Admin/Facility Manager when required.

1. Inventory & Procurement

- Monitor stock levels of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, drinking water, snacks,



disposable items, cleaning materials, and other pantry supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory and consumption records.
- Prepare stock/requisition requirements and coordinate with the concerned department for timely procurement.
- Check the quality and quantity of received pantry supplies.
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage and usage of pantry items.
- Monitor expiry dates of food and beverage products.

1. Hygiene & Safety

- Ensure compliance with company hygiene and safety standards.
- Conduct regular checks of pantry cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal.
- Report damaged equipment, leakage, electrical issues, or other safety hazards immediately.
- Ensure food items are stored appropriately to maintain quality and freshness.

1. Guest & Employee Service

- Ensure courteous and professional service to employees, management, clients, and visitors.
- Coordinate special beverage/refreshment requirements for senior management and guests.
- Ensure pantry services are available on time during meetings and official events.
- Handle service-related concerns professionally and report recurring issues to management.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 10th/12th pass; hospitality or facility-management qualification is an advantage.




- 2–5 years of relevant experience in pantry supervision, hospitality, office administration, facility management, hotel, restaurant, or similar environment.
- Previous experience managing pantry/support staff is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and food hygiene.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records and reports is preferred.
