Role & responsibilities The Panchakarma Technician Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical knowledge and intensive practical training to rural youth and women enrolled under the DDU-GKY scheme. The primary goal is to equip candidates with standard Ayurvedic therapeutic skills, preparing them for jobs at wellness centers, hospitals, and resorts, while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) mandated by DDU-GKY.

Key Responsibilities1. Domain Training Delivery

- Theoretical Instructions: Teach the basic concepts and fundamental principles of Ayurveda, human anatomy, physiology, and the concept of Panchakarma.
- Practical Demonstrations: Provide rigorous, step-by-step hands-on training for the implementation of National Occupational Standards (NOS):
- (Preparation): Setting up the Panchakarma therapy room, checking equipment, and identifying appropriate herbs,



medicaments, oils, and formulations.
- (Therapy Execution): Performing therapies like Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Swedana, Nasya, and Basti strictly as per a clinicians prescription.
- (Post-Therapy Care): Executing patient post-care, monitoring vital parameters, handling cleanups, and managing documentation.
- Skill Lab Management: Maintain the Panchakarma lab inventory, ensure all traditional equipment is functional, and manage raw materials/consumables carefully.

2. Safety, Hygiene & Soft Skills

- Train candidates in workplace safety , infection control policies, personal protective equipment (PPE) utilization, and biomedical waste disposal
