The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in automotive OEM painting processes, including the application of top coats and sealers. This role requires proficiency in managing manpower and a thorough understanding of powder coating techniques.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in our automotive painting operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute automotive painting processes, including the application of primers, base coats, clear coats, and sealers according to OEM specifications.
2. Operate and maintain various painting equipment, including spray guns, robotic painters, and powder coating systems.
3. Ensure adherence to quality control standards and perform inspections to identify and rectify any defects in the paint finish.
4. Manage and guide a team of paint shop personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and task allocation.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to paint application, material defects, and equipment malfunctions.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
7. Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to achieve production targets and maintain product integrity.
Educational Qualifications
1. Full time Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
Must-Have Skills
1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive OEM painting.
2. Proven experience with Top Coat and Sealer application.
3. Demonstrated experience in Manpower Handling and team supervision.
4. Proficiency in Powder Coating techniques.
5. Strong understanding of automotive paint defect identification and correction.
6. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good-to-Have Skills
1. Experience with robotic painting systems.
2. Knowledge of different types of automotive paints and their properties.
3. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
4. Basic understanding of automotive assembly processes.
