As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to meet evolving business requirements. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an subject matter expert.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- Strong understanding of application configuration and release management processes.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services within packaged applications.
- Familiarity with low-code development platforms to customize and extend application capabilities.
- Ability to analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements to ensure stability.
- Valuable problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
