Role Description The Owner role at POWERGRID is a full-time, in office position based in Delhi, India, responsible for providing strategic oversight, governance, and direction to core business operations. The role involves setting long-term organizational goals, guiding major investment and infrastructure decisions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy frameworks related to the power sector.

Day-to-day activities include reviewing operational performance reports, collaborating with executive leadership on project planning and risk management, and overseeing stakeholder relationships with government bodies, partners, and key clients. The Owner is expected to support initiatives that enhance transmission efficiency, reliability, and safety,



while promoting sustainable growth and organizational resilience. The role also entails mentoring senior leaders, endorsing key organizational policies, and championing innovation and continuous improvement across the company.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in leadership, governance, or executive management within large infrastructure, utilities, or energy-sector organizations.
- Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities, including experience overseeing high-value projects and long-term investment initiatives.
- Comprehensive understanding of power transmission, energy regulation, and public-sector or state-owned enterprise operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with government agencies, regulatory authorities, and industry partners.
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the organization at high-level forums and public engagements.
- Proven capability in risk management, compliance oversight, and policy implementation in complex organizational environments.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in engineering, business administration, public policy, or a related field; advanced or postgraduate qualifications are an asset.
- Commitment to ethical leadership, safety standards, and sustainable development principles in the energy sector.
