ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring an experienced and driven Overseas Education Counsellor for our Mumbai branch. You will guide students through their study abroad journey — from the first call to visa approval — while actively contributing to the branch team and hitting enrolment targets. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable on the phone and in a face-to-face counselling session.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Telecalling & Lead Management

- Make high volumes of outbound calls daily to fresh, warm, and cold leads
- Follow up on all inbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, and email promptly
- Convert telephonic enquiries into counselling appointments and enrolments
- Re-engage undecided and cold leads through structured follow-ups
- Handle objections confidently — cost concerns, visa fears, and parental queries

Student Counselling
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (in-person and online) to understand student profiles, goals, and budgets
- Guide students on university selection, courses, intakes, and scholarships for Australia, New Zealand, and the UK
- Advise on visa requirements, documentation, and application processes for respective destinations
- Assist students with SOPs, LORs, application submissions, and offer letter follow-ups
- Manage a pipeline of active students at various stages and keep them updated regularly

Reporting & CRM
- Update CRM after every call and student interaction — accurately and on time
- Submit daily call reports and weekly pipeline summaries to the Branch Manager




- Track own conversion ratios and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in weekly team review meetings and report on pipeline progress

Teamwork & Collaboration
- Be an active team member — step in to help colleagues with students, documentation, or calls when needed
- Share destination updates, visa changes, and university news with the team proactively
- Support new joiners in getting up to speed on processes and university knowledge
- Contribute positively to branch culture and team targets

Events & Outreach
- Attend university roadshows, education fairs, and school visits in Mumbai
- Help organise in-house seminars and webinars for prospective students
- Build referral networks through past students and community contacts

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–5 years of experience in overseas education counselling
- Good working knowledge of Australia, Recent Zealand, and UK — universities, visa processes, and post-study pathways
- Proven telecalling experience with comfort in high-volume outbound calling
- Target-driven with a track record of meeting enrolment goals
- Strong CRM discipline and reporting habits
- Excellent communication in English and Hindi; Marathi is a plus
- Team player who helps without being asked
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate immediately
