Role Description The Owner role at AIIMS Delhi is a full time, on-site position located in Delhi, India, with overarching responsibility for strategic leadership and institutional direction. The individual in this role oversees long-term vision, governance structures, and alignment with national health and education policies. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with senior administrators and medical leaders on academic, clinical, and research priorities, reviewing key performance indicators, and guiding resource allocation.

The role involves stakeholder engagement with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and partner institutions to support AIIMS Delhi’s mission and compliance with statutory requirements. The Owner also provides high-level guidance on risk management, quality standards, and organizational development to ensure sustainable growth and impact.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in leading large, complex organizations, preferably in healthcare, higher education, or public sector institutions.




- Strong background in strategic planning, governance, and policy development, with the ability to align institutional goals with national priorities.
- Proven capability in stakeholder management, including collaboration with government ministries, regulatory bodies, and academic or clinical partners.
- Expertise in financial oversight, resource management, and high-level decision-making to support long-term institutional sustainability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a commitment to ethical, transparent, and inclusive management practices.
- Advanced academic or professional qualifications in medicine, public health, healthcare administration, public policy, or a related field are highly beneficial.
- Extensive experience in medical education or health systems strengthening, and familiarity with Indian healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
