About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Outreach Intern to support outreach activities for Plaksha Universitys Masters in AI (MSAI) program.

In this role, you will work closely with the Outreach and Lead Nurturing & Outreach teams to engage with universities, student clubs, technical communities, and entrepreneurship cells across India. You will contribute to building awareness about the program, identifying relevant student communities, generating leads, and supporting outreach events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Research & Mapping

- Research and identify relevant universities, student clubs, technical societies, AI/tech communities, and entrepreneurship cells across India.
- Identify high-potential student communities relevant to MSAI outreach.
- Map communities based on factors such as university, location, domain, estimated reach, and relevance to the program.

2. Database Management & Lead Generation

- Build and maintain databases of student communities and relevant contacts.
- Maintain accurate information including university details, community/domain, contact details, estimated reach, and outreach status.
- Generate and maintain relevant outreach leads through structured research.
- Keep outreach trackers and databases updated on a regular basis.

3. Outreach & Engagement

- Support outreach through email, calls, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other relevant channels.
- Connect with student communities and relevant stakeholders to create awareness about the MSAI program.




- Follow up with communities and track responses and engagement.
- Support the team in developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with student communities.

4. Events & Community Activities

- Coordinate with student communities to support webinars, workshops, hackathons, and information sessions.
- Assist with event logistics and participant communication.
- Support registrations, follow-ups, and feedback collection.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of outreach activities.

5. Tracking & Reporting

- Track registrations, leads, engagement, and outreach performance across different communities.
- Maintain accurate outreach trackers and databases.
- Prepare basic reports and summaries on outreach activities and performance.
- Identify relevant insights from outreach data to support ongoing activities.

Skills Required

- Strong research and online information-gathering skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive data-handling and database management abilities.
- Comfortable working with Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to organise and maintain large amounts of information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable communicating through email, calls, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other digital channels.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Interest in AI, technology, higher education, and student communities will be an advantage.

Education & Qualification

- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Management, Marketing, Communications, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Candidates with an interest in outreach, community engagement, marketing, student engagement, or technology are encouraged to apply.
- Strong academic or professional experience is not mandatory; the role requires curiosity, initiative, communication skills, and willingness to learn.
