About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automotive Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ programming, Linux/QNX environments, and extensive experience in the automotive industry. This role will involve developing and maintaining software for advanced automotive systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software for automotive systems using C++.
- Work within Linux/QNX environments to build robust and scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship recent features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5-12 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
- Extensive experience working with Linux and QNX operating systems.
- Proven experience in the automotive industry.
- Deep understanding of automotive systems and architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with Over-the-Air (OTA) update systems.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR standards and methodologies.
- Familiarity with safety-critical systems and ISO 26262.
- Experience with other programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of Agile development processes.
