OT Technician
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled OT Technician to assist doctors, surgeons, nurses, and the OT team in preparing and maintaining the operation theatre, surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operation Theatre before scheduled surgeries.
- Arrange and check surgical instruments, equipment, OT supplies, and consumables.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
- Maintain proper sterilization and disinfection of instruments and OT areas.
- Follow infection-control and biomedical-waste management protocols.
- Ensure availability and functioning of OT equipment.
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning as directed by the clinical team.
- Handle surgical instruments and equipment safely.
- Maintain OT registers, checklists, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the CSSD, nursing, housekeeping, and other hospital departments.
- Ensure proper cleaning and preparation of the OT after every procedure.
- Check stock levels and inform the concerned department about shortages.
- Follow hospital SOPs and NABH/infection-control standards.
Eligibility
- DOTT / Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent qualification.
- B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in a hospital/OT environment is preferred.
