About the Role We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead OS stack bring-up and development for cutting-edge CPU architectures. This role involves enabling Linux/Windows/other OS kernels on current silicon and optimizing system-level performance.

Responsibilities

- Bring up OS kernels (Linux, Windows, or RTOS) on next-gen CPU platforms.
- Develop and maintain low-level drivers, bootloaders, and board support packages.
- Debug and resolve kernel-level issues during pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure smooth integration.
- Optimize OS stack for power, performance, and reliability.





Required Skills
- Strong experience in kernel development and OS internals.
- Proficiency in C/C++, assembly, and scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with device drivers, memory management, and interrupt handling.
- Familiarity with CPU architecture, virtualization, and multi-core systems.
- Experience with silicon bring-up, JTAG, and debug tools.

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to RISC-V or ARM architectures.
- Knowledge of secure boot flows and power management integration.
- Experience with performance profiling and tuning.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master''s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
