We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL & ProC Developer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in database development, Unix/Linux environments, and embedded SQL programming.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
- Design and develop applications using ProC / Embedded SQL.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Perform SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Work with large-volume data, complex joins, subqueries, analytical functions, and database transactions.
- Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for application and database-related processes.
- Debug and resolve production issues related to Oracle, PL/SQL, and ProC applications.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
- Work closely with application developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Prepare technical documentation and support existing applications.

Required Skills
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database development.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.




- Good hands-on experience with ProC / Embedded SQL.
- Strong understanding of Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Cursors, Triggers, Views, and Transactions.
- Experience with SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with production support and application maintenance.
- Positive understanding of database design, indexing, constraints, and data integrity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have
- Experience in C programming.
- Exposure to application development involving Oracle and ProC.
- Knowledge of batch processing and scheduling tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to version control tools such as Git/SVN.

Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
