- This person will take end-user access requests through the full lifecycle: diagnosing the missing permission, evaluating segregation-of-duties (SoD) impact, updating and testing the role, and packaging the change for approval before it moves to production.
- candidate must understand how Oracle Fusion Cloud applications security is structured and be able to work confidently in the Security Console:
- Job roles - the functional roles assigned to users (e.g., Accounts Payable Manager), which may span multiple applications and are organized hierarchically to reflect lines of authority.
- Duty roles - the task-level building blocks of a job role (e.g., Payables Invoice Approval), specific to an application, each carrying its own function security privileges and data security policies.
- Privileges - the discrete operations a duty role grants; these are the atomic unit that gets added or removed when closing an access gap.
- Data roles / data security policies - the layer that scopes what business units, ledgers, or records a user can see, independent of which functional privileges they hold
- Demonstrated ability to decompose a job role into its duty roles and privileges, and to map an end-users described access gap to the specific missing element.
- Experience performing and documenting segregation of duties (SoD) risk analysis for proposed role/privilege changes.
